Ramsey's first day of first grade.
I can't help it--my heard breaks a little every time she gets on the bus! It has gotten easier, but that first day is brutal.
Ramsey's desk in first grade.
Beck's first day of school--Pre-K with Ms. Wickline and Ms. Latessa (Science with Ms. Neidecker).
Matt's notes.
Any given morning at breakfast time. (I WANNA SIT NEXT TO DARBY)
Roosevelt Island.
Trader Joes sample.
Ted's Bulletin on date night.
There was no way to get a good picture here--Beck was "feeling wild," Darby couldn't keep still, and Ramsey wouldn't stop eating. But look at their outfits!
I even coordinated with them :).
Dance party after church.
Lunch at 2 Amys. We went to the National Cathedral in the morning and by lunch we were very sure we were ready to move downtown! We looked at schools, real estate, the commute and it seemed like a sure thing. We changed our minds by the evening.
Darby enjoyed having a scoot at Oakton Elementary's playground.
Binky baby. I like your track suit, Darby.
Froyo at Zinga. Yum!
Playing ball in the front yard.
Matt at a baseball game.
Zzzzzzzzzzzz after a long day at church.
WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR GRASS??? Oh, the lawn guy treated the weeds. Yeah, we didn't forget that and panic and then realize it later.
Beck and I went to the local garden store and picked out some plants to plant in the front yard.
Snacktime.
Friends :) Ramsey and Gabriella took a selfie at the bus stop.
Beck and Ezra had a great time watching the snakes at the pet store.
Darby was trying so hard to climb at Meadow Lane Park.
Tub love.
This tantrum was so bad that fingernail polish was thrown and stained EVERYTHING. Luckily it came out of the tile, but we have to repaint to get it off of the walls. BOOOOOO Beck.
Sisters! Pajama twins.
Beck has become a prolific writer.
Darby's fave--spaghetti and meatballs!
SSHHHHHH...sleepy Darby.
Wait a minute....
Darby is into Thomas the Tank Engine.
Playground gang.
Fireman Beck :)
I got into a car accident (a guy without insurance ran a red light). It was just me and Darby in the car and we were not hurt thank goodness. I had to tie what remained of the bumper so that I could drive home. Can you believe I had twine and scissors in the console? And that the idea came to me?
Dinner.
New shades :)
Story time at the library.
Another snake!
Crib craziness.
My climbers.
A new year of ballet begins for Ramsey (after I took a year off).
Look at what these kids serve at their food truck.
