Ramsey doing the spirometry test at the Pulmonary Specialist. This test is pretty tricky--her nose is pinned closed in order to force her to breathe through her mouth. They didn't actually get a reading here, they were just practicing in hopes that one day they will get a reading. Ramsey's asthma is actually under control, and at this visit the doctor expressed hope that next Winter we can try to not give her any preventative medication at all. As it stands now, she does not use any preventative meds in the Spring and Summer until Fall comes. Then in Fall through the Winter she takes two puffs every morning of her preventative med FloVent via an inhaler with a spacer, which has successfully kept her away from the ER since September 2010 when she started seeing the Pulmonary Specialist. Any time she starts coughing, we give her ProAir (albuterol) via an inhaler with a spacer, or if it is really bad, we resort to using the Nebulizer. This Fall we had both kids on the Nebulizer--they just took turns. It was pitiful.
These kids love to "lean back" and drink milk from sippy cups together in the evenings.
We went to a Cato event with Matt at the home of his co-worker, Kristina Crane. It was really fun.
Ramsey had a blast in the bouncy house, but only after a little girl lured her in and there were no other kids in there. Beck was not keen on this at all. He only enjoyed taking off his shoes.
I love this pic--we were so hot. We rode in this van together as a shuttle back to our car. Beck's resemblance to Matt is very striking in this photo.
Ramsey attended her bestie (center) Mikenna's birthday party and had so much fun.

The kids go crazy for Matt.
They want piggy-back rides, to spin around, etc. He obliges and they all giggle so much.
