Catch up: August

There are some stragglers that somehow did not make the blog.  This first set is from August around Beck's birthday.  I can't believe how much the kids have changed in the last 4-5 months.  

This is a series of pictures of Beck opening presents for his birthday.  I think this is cute because Beck, as he was opening the presents, stopped mid-way to go all the way to the kitchen to throw away the trash.  Between this and the kids' requests for napkins/wipes to clean their hands, maybe we've gone too far!    

The summer was all about the park down the street-Meadow Lane Park.  It really is a splendid place.  They love the swings.  We usually sing songs while they swing--Jack and Jill, Humpty Dumpty, ABCs, etc....

 We enjoyed a lot of smoothies, especially at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Matt's favorite.
