Mr. Mischief & Co.

Just me and Beck in the basement.  Beck: "Watch this (as he flips over with no hands)!  Silly!"

We threw the ball together-- Beck: "My turn" then "Mommy's turn." Also, when he couldn't find the ball: "my ball?  Oh I got it Mommy!"

We also kicked it some, and he was so excited, yelling "ha ha, kick!"

Here he is saying "peek-a-boo!"

Hiding again-when I said I was going upstairs and picked up a couple of things, he said, "let's clean up."

They loved running around in capes tonight.

The other night I was looking for them to put them to bed, and here's what I found in Ramsey's room:
Beck in the toy box, organizing the eggs.

Ramsey reading on her luxurious chaise lounge.

Tummy down, kicking those legs.

This picture captures the essence of Beck--cool, confident, in charge, and snacking on what he calls "BIG bagel."

No peddling yet, but he loves scooting around on this steal of a trike from Unique for 5 bucks.

Ferocious!

After church.  Whenever we come home, Beck sits on the stoop and says "seat" and Ramsey joins him.

Ramsey: "take a picture of me" then "let me see."

Again, pretending to be asleep.  "Let me see."

This is the first time she saw the American Girl store, and she was spellbound.  How do they know exactly how to entrance little girls?  Incredible.  She and Beck looked at the catalogues while they rode in the stroller around Tyson's Corner.

Ramsey is looking out the window telling a story.  She is all imagination, all the time.  Sometimes it's pretty tough to get a straight, real answer out of her!  Tonight Matt asked her what she did today, and she said all kinds of things, none of which we actually did, but had a blast making up stories.  When Matt asked Beck what he did today, Beck said, "Umm, went to the pool."  And yes, we did go to the pool.

Here they are at their first rock concert at Frying Pan Farm Park--the band was Rocknoceros.  They really enjoyed it, although Ramsey was not crazy about how crowded it was.  After the concert, we got in the car for a moment so that we could have a little peace, and then we were ready to see the animals on the farm.

Rocknoceros--the band is weird to me--the guy on the left is "coach," the guy on the right is "Billy Bob," and I don't remember about the guy in the middle.  It doesn't make any sense to me how they go together, but their music actually rocks a little and I enjoyed listening and dancing.  We bought a CD and the kids are totally into it.

Here they are looking at some kind of foul--Beck initially called them all chickens, but learned about the difference between chickens, roosters, peacock, peahens, and ducks (I'm sure he'd pass an exam on it).

Bella loves sleeping next to us in the evening.  We love her so much.

The flash woke her up, and she was pretty offended but managed to doze off again moments later.
