The Finer Points of Warner Days: April 2022

5:45AM at Reagan National Airport, heading out on our first international family trip--Chrissy and the kids are going to meet Matt in Nosara, Costa Rica!

Beck is so tired, with good reason. We landed in Miami but our flight was delayed due to weather. so we missed our flight to Liberia, Costa Rica. There were lots of cancelled flights and missed connections and the airport was insane. Chrissy managed to find a second line forming to meet with United agents and got us a flight to Liberia for tomorrow morning. Matt found us a hotel with points since we have to stay in Miami tonight. The airline says we have seats on the flight, but they couldn't provide written confirmation. Fingers crossed!

Waiting in Miami for our flight. We have seats! We had an $80 Starbucks breakfast so we are fed and ready to go.

We stayed at this gorgeous surf hotel called The Gilded Iguana.

The weather is hot and sunny and amazing.

This kitty lives on the kid's patio, she went by several names--Darby and Blair said Pepper and Ramsey said Tabby.

poolside at The Gilded Iguana-this place was so fabulous. They would bring cool, damp washcloths around at the hottest part of the day that had lemon essential oils and felt amazing.

We found a cool dirt bike place and Beck tore it up!

We ate right next to it at a BBQ place.

Returning to the USA required negative COVID tests for Matt, Ramsey, Darby, and Blair, and doctors' notes for Chrissy and Beck because they just had COVID and couldn't pass a COVID test. It was complicated, but we made it home!
