Sleepy, sick Ramsey

 Jumping rope on the deck.

She fell asleep in the car two minutes before we got to the school for Beck's Field Day (it was indoors due to weather).  This child let me transfer her to this stroller and then slept through the loudest, craziest kindergarten noise ever.  You would think I didn't put her in her bed EVERY AFTERNOON for a nap.  I don't mess around with kids sleeping, but you'd never know it.  She never takes the nap, and just opts to have quiet time in her room.  

 Beck had a blast.  I volunteered to run some silly relay games and it was pretty fun.

 He really concentrated on keeping that rubber chicken on his head!  He looks so much like Matt.

 Darby loved this swing and called it the car seat swing.  I always enjoy Vienna Elementary's park.

I just love Darby's 3-year-old organization and sorting.

We built a little restaurant in the basement playroom.

 Beck had to sit it out because he was sick.

Then off to the ER to check Beck for strep on a Sunday (Matt was out of town).

 Sibling solidarity through Beck's ordeal.  He just had a viral infection so no meds, but luckily he got better fairly quickly.

I noticed that Beck checked this book out at the library.  Is he feeling beat down by his giftedness?

 Again, Darby fell asleep two minutes before we got to the school for the Girl Scout meeting (it started at 4:00).  And she transferred to the stroller and slept through the whole thing.

Luckily Beck has a friend he can play with during the meeting :).
