Actual recent photos

I have been so behind on this blog journal for so long that I'm starting to give up.  But I can't!  So here is our latest.....

We went to our elementary school open house.  While we were in the building, a bus hit Grandma's van.  We have only been driving it for a few weeks!  So sorry.

Meadow Lane Park :)

Cooling off at the pool.

Daddy-daughter cuddles.

Life according to Ramsey....

First day of school--Beck, kindergarten and Ramsey, 2nd grade

Beck and Darby enjoyed the Oakton United Methodist Church's playground while we waited for Ramsey to finish her Brownie meeting.  Yep, she's a Girl Scout now!!

Darby and I spend a lot of alone time together now.   Here's our lunch date at Firehouse Subs (after she played at PB&Jack while I worked).

Library time!

Nature walk on a Sunday morning.

We visited school and had lunch with Ramsey and Beck.  Darby wanted to stay!

Can I get out???

Random shenanigans.

Ramsey and Beck helped draw pictures on the program for the Primary Program.  This one from Ramsey made my heart melt.  Look at those hands praying.  She is quite the artist!

Matt and me at the Alabama Shakes concert.

We worked on cleaning up a cemetery on the Day to Serve in our Stake.

Storytime at the library.

Can I hold Bella's leash?

Our busy mornings before school include last minute homework--Ramsey is helping Beck :).

Darby was not feeling great.  She required lots of cuddles.

Darby is pretty good at keeping herself busy.  It is so nice!  She is reading to herself here.

Bella hated all of the rain we got recently.  It's messing up her 'do.

General conference!

Here's my handsome boy.  Kindergarten looks good on him!

Darby insisted on her tutu and hogged this push mower at the park for a long time.  Finally another Mom came up and asked if her son could have a turn.  Darby was randomly shouting "mine" if the boy even came near.  She was a good sport about handing it over in the end, though.  She is definitely feisty, and I like it.  It's really the only way to survive with Ramsey and Beck.
