March was COLD

Sometimes only Aunt Emily can warm you up...

Our first snowman.  Perfect slushiness.  My first snowman too.  Beck named him Jack (he names everything Jack).

New hat.

All of this before our delayed start--11A--for preschool.  It was seriously a blast.

Beck felt inspired to give the snowman arms.

The next day the sun was out, and most of the snow melted, yet Jack stayed.  We were so impressed!

They were so proud.

Frozen yogurt with friends.  Zinga!

Daddy's home!

Belly around 32 weeks.  Ever folding laundry.

Beck's last music class.  A friend started this co-op class for those tricky winter months--January to March.  It was really great.  I led the themed songs for January.

Cleaning the bathroom :)

Drinking yogurt with a straw.  To stay warm?

We visited Old Navy around St. Patrick's Day.  They were all decked out with crafts, hats, and a hunt of some kind.  For the record, I did *nothing* at home for this holiday.  Preschool took care of it in my mind.  I have a hard enough time with the serious holidays!

Look at these two :)

A serious lamp fell on Beck's head when some friends were over in the morning.  Blood dripping and all.

Cut around his left eye.

Wound on top of his head.

Ramsey immediately drew something to make Beck feel better.

He brought his favorites to the table and played on.

A pretty big lamp!  He really cried.  Luckily the gash was not so bad, and when I took him to the doctor that day, she said it was fine and did not need staples or stitches.  Phew!

Then around 7 that evening, Ramsey fell face-first onto the brick fireplace.  Again, blood dripping and all.  She had a wicked bruise on her left cheek, and she cut/bit the inside of her mouth.  The bruise is finally fading almost 2 weeks later.  She cried a lot.

Cuddles helped.

Beck just discovered Captain Underpants (sorry Zina).  He is really, really interested.  He "read" it to himself for about 15 minutes here in total mesmerized silence.  He really loves reading, and especially since Ramsey has been doing reading lessons for so long, he talks about the sounds the letters make and tries to spell things himself.  It is so fun.
