We had an impromptu dinner with the Eskelsens at Cafe Deluxe in Tyson's Corner.
Ramsey loves to grab a cuddle with Aunt Emily.
The next day, we joined the Eskelsens and friends at Sandy Point, MD.
This is about an hour away, our closest beach on the Chesapeake Bay.
Ramsey played in the waves for the first time. She had so much fun. I don't know why, but she was undeterred by all of the jellyfish stings suffered by Tommy and almost every other kid at the beach that day. There was a lot of crying and shrieking, but Ramsey didn't get it I think.
Here she is with Isla (pronounced eye-la). She assumed Isla was her cousin at first!
Beck didn't get into the water--he kept asking where the little pool was.
The playground was a little scary--not many railings.
It felt like a kid could fall off and break an arm at any moment.
Beck is wearing my $3 Michael's sunglasses. See why I only buy glasses under $10?
Emily and Tommy, contemplating life.
Tommy recovered nicely from his jellyfish stings. So handsome!
Getting buried in the sand is a must.
